"Behold, children are a gift of the Lord." Psalm 127:3
"For this child, I have prayed." 1 Samuel 1:27
"For you formed my inward parts; you wove me in my mother's womb." Psalm 139:13
For those of you who know our story, the bible verses above are soooo meaningful to us. Allie is truly a gift from God and everyday that we look at her we are reminded of how good God is. In the depths of sorrow, heartache, longing and fear, He shows Himself in the most incredible ways. Words cannot describe the love that we feel for our little princess and how much we want her to know the God who made her. So, we decided to dedicate her to the Lord at church and stand before our friends and family to make the promise to raise her in a Christian home. We know that life is going to continue to have its ups and downs but with God as the foundation of our lives, we know we can get through anything!

Tea Party!

This past weekend my two good friends Amanda and Alison hosted a tea party. They do it every year with their mother-in-law and sister-in-law. It was so much fun to have an excuse to dress up, wear cute hats (they were required!), and hang out with a bunch of girls. It made me think of years ago when big dresses and hats were the norm for every day attire. :) (I have to say I'm thankful for my jeans and t-shirts but it is fun to dress up every once and a while!) The above picture is with all the girls of my bible study group. I am so thankful to have such a good group of friends that help keep me accountable and encouraged and make me feel so loved!

Allie's first food experience!
Allie had her first food experience with rice cereal today. She really didn't spit a lot of it out, she just held it in her mouth and didn't know what to do with it. It was hilarious. Her little face made some really funny expressions! Check out the pictures...

Happy 4 month birthday!!!
I can't believe 4 months has already gone by! Allie is smiling, laughing, rolling over and is such a good little baby. She loves to stare at her daddy and look all around at everything, she even loves to watch the TV. She is the greatest thing in the world and although I'm sad to see her grow up, I can't wait to see what she does in the next 4 months!

We have a roller!!!
Allie finally rolled over! It took about 10 takes to get her to do it on camera but we finally got it. Now she just needs to learn how to roll back because she's not too fond of being on her tummy!
