On Tuesday, Matt, Allie and I spent the day up in Prescott. My parents are building a house up there (which is ALMOST done) and since they are out of the country for a while, we thought we'd go up and check out the progress (and take advantage of all the amenities their community has to offer!)
Allie always does such a good job on the drive. Unfortunately she NEVER sleeps but she does find ways to entertain herself. We heard some giggling in the back seat and found her like this...

Our first stop was to check out the house. Here it is... Exterior landscaping is all that's left on the outside. The inside is almost done except for the flooring, kitchen countertops and all the finishings.

We brought Allie's bike trailer so we checked out some bikes from the clubhouse and went on a long bike ride around the Talking Rock community. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of this!
Then we had lunch at Coop's. Look at the amazing view from the patio where we ate.

Off to the pool! There is a kiddie pool right next to the main pool that Allie LOVES!!! The whole thing is a foot and a half deep so it is perfect for Allie to reach the bottom and walk when she is in her raft. We were hoping that 'walking' all over the pool may give her some confidence to actual walk on her own, but NOPE, didn't work! She's still a crawler! Oh well!

Naptime, well, kinda. We set up Allie's pack-n-play under the pool patio and covered it with a sheet. Do you see that big bump in the middle? Yes, that would be Allie's head. Needless to say it took her a while to fall asleep since she was exploring her 'cave'. :)

After some relaxing by the pool we headed home. The only thing that would make the trip perfect, is if the house were done and we could just drive 2 minutes instead of 2 hours! But pretty soon we will have a nice little vacation home, thanks mom and dad!!!
